Mr Fish o'flame is right, I think we need to have a new thread for the second meet especially as it won't let me edit the title of the old one rolleyes

So here's the open invitation to everyone who reads this to join us in Falmouth. It seems most agree on the weekend of 6th-8th or there round abouts (I'll be there from the 5th) and we're camping

here at the same campsite

and spending our nights

here on Maenporth Beach

If you wanna see what the last meeting looked like visit

Soton Firespinners to download the video

If anyone wants to come just turn up but we'd appreciate a post or two to let us know so we can be sure the campsite can expect a certain number of people although they have lots of space and no doubt would fit us in without a problem.

Its a winner, you know it makes sense, be there or be a square poi and besides what else have you got to do you bunch of weirdos!?! wink

And if we want it better I think we should be a little better prepared for funness, does anyone have one of those massive tents like army ones? Or would anyone be interested in piling into a couple of chalets perhaps? And maybe a generator for tunes on the beach *cough*strugz*cough* for when the bones start showing through Mags' fingers?! wink Any other suggestions folks? Could people all try to bring a little wood with them please? Even a few sticks each will make a massive difference but if Brad wants to use his 100% work discount again that'd be well cool biggrin hug2

So who's-a comin? bounce bounce2 grouphug devil kiss beerchug wow hehe ubbrollsmile juggle weavesmiley ubblove biggrin ubbidea sunny

No-one needs a lift?

Out route can either go M5 or A303 to Exeter then it's just er - straight on through. So if anyone needs a lift and can get within spitting distance of either of these routes - let me know.

hey all, just got myself some wick in london to make myself some cathedral fold fireheads. went to loads of shops to find some eyebolts but couldn't find any anywhere frown if anyone could bring some or give me an alternative option to make the heads i'd be very greatful... also i was checking prices for staffs and found £40 a bit excessive for a long staff so if anyone would like to help me build one or has one for sale i'd be very interested as i'd really like to learn some staff. anyway, getting pretty excited about this weekend so see you all soon !!! biggrin

stuff would i need for a staff ? i would obviously need a staff...what kinda material ? aluminium ? and what's a good length (i'm 1.78m tall, think that's about 5.8ft) if i can't manage to find the silly eyebolts i need for my cathedral fireheads i'll use the 2m of 2.5" wick that i bought for a staff i think. worst case i'll just have to keep playing with my 2.5" tube core heads wink

Happy Birthday Frodo!! hug

Well in true style nothing runs smooth....yesterday the started motor on the car died. I've managed to get it in for replacement but with labour and all that it's gonna cost £110 which we have to find from somewhere frown plus when my Dad was dicking round with it yesterday trying to fix it he disconnected the battery and thus the stereo now needs a code to make it work. Nobodey has it and I don't have £20 spare for some git with a box to come and re-code it so we can now look forward to 600 miles of music-less driving....oh joy

Saturday should be "Happy Birthday Day" where we have to spoil all the birthday people and give them the bumps
