Mr Fish o'flame is right, I think we need to have a new thread for the second meet especially as it won't let me edit the title of the old one rolleyes

So here's the open invitation to everyone who reads this to join us in Falmouth. It seems most agree on the weekend of 6th-8th or there round abouts (I'll be there from the 5th) and we're camping

here at the same campsite

and spending our nights

here on Maenporth Beach

If you wanna see what the last meeting looked like visit

Soton Firespinners to download the video

If anyone wants to come just turn up but we'd appreciate a post or two to let us know so we can be sure the campsite can expect a certain number of people although they have lots of space and no doubt would fit us in without a problem.

Its a winner, you know it makes sense, be there or be a square poi and besides what else have you got to do you bunch of weirdos!?! wink

And if we want it better I think we should be a little better prepared for funness, does anyone have one of those massive tents like army ones? Or would anyone be interested in piling into a couple of chalets perhaps? And maybe a generator for tunes on the beach *cough*strugz*cough* for when the bones start showing through Mags' fingers?! wink Any other suggestions folks? Could people all try to bring a little wood with them please? Even a few sticks each will make a massive difference but if Brad wants to use his 100% work discount again that'd be well cool biggrin hug2

So who's-a comin? bounce bounce2 grouphug devil kiss beerchug wow hehe ubbrollsmile juggle weavesmiley ubblove biggrin ubbidea sunny

The list currently looks like this and I'll keep this post updated for ease of looking for links and names etc

Right. The station is a fair way from Maenporth. This is because the station is in town, but the beach is slightly out of town. Walking is possible, but you're likely to get lost.

What day are you arriving Grace?

And who's bringin Vix?

Ok, there are still lift issues. Hands up anyone who has spaces in their car? Anyone at all?

wave Although more for en-route pickups... We're leaving EARLY Friday morning, and can possibly pick 1 person up on the way down. Due to the length of the journey though, can't really afford to make any detours sorry.

Grace - I'm sure someone will be able to pick you up from the station.

What day are you arriving Grace? Maybe I'm sure someone can come pick you up in one of the many cars that will be about. Don't worry you won't be stranded at the station hug

Yeah I think decks and genny at the beach will attract too much attention, perhaps at the site will be cool if we can't hook up to their power otherwise we wanna keep attention down as much as poss. I know that doesn't make much sense what with fire and all but decks will only attract the local plentiful supply of chavs to us who are likely to ruin the evening/bring police attention and thus ruin the evening. If it happens on Thursay/Friday we're deffo stuffed for the rest of the weekend.

Mike I got a can of fosters for your batteries, I have a little stereo I'll be bringing that takes em, and for everyone else's info the stereo can play MP3's burned to CD, so if you wanna ram a couple cd's full of MP3's that'd be just grand for when we're at the site.

And just for everyone else there reading this at work or whatever, my holiday has already started!!

Ahhhhhhh smile

We don't have Chavs in Cornwall. Just thought i'd mention it.

Garthy>> Wicked mate, glad that's sorted then. I take it you and Vix will communicate at some point and arrange pickups etc. You beauty. Spliff rolled ready for your arrival.

Bug, you're SUCH a skiver! But fair play to you. I'm gonna have to cook the curry on wednesday, and Pink's gonna have to heat it up ready for your arrival Thurs, as i'm working Thursday and Friday afternoons. And when you get to mine, you can choose from my 3000 mp3s which ones you want burned. biggrin

I love it when a plan comes together. wink
