Mr Fish o'flame is right, I think we need to have a new thread for the second meet especially as it won't let me edit the title of the old one rolleyes

So here's the open invitation to everyone who reads this to join us in Falmouth. It seems most agree on the weekend of 6th-8th or there round abouts (I'll be there from the 5th) and we're camping

here at the same campsite

and spending our nights

here on Maenporth Beach

If you wanna see what the last meeting looked like visit

Soton Firespinners to download the video

If anyone wants to come just turn up but we'd appreciate a post or two to let us know so we can be sure the campsite can expect a certain number of people although they have lots of space and no doubt would fit us in without a problem.

Its a winner, you know it makes sense, be there or be a square poi and besides what else have you got to do you bunch of weirdos!?! wink

And if we want it better I think we should be a little better prepared for funness, does anyone have one of those massive tents like army ones? Or would anyone be interested in piling into a couple of chalets perhaps? And maybe a generator for tunes on the beach *cough*strugz*cough* for when the bones start showing through Mags' fingers?! wink Any other suggestions folks? Could people all try to bring a little wood with them please? Even a few sticks each will make a massive difference but if Brad wants to use his 100% work discount again that'd be well cool biggrin hug2

So who's-a comin? bounce bounce2 grouphug devil kiss beerchug wow hehe ubbrollsmile juggle weavesmiley ubblove biggrin ubbidea sunny

The list currently looks like this and I'll keep this post updated for ease of looking for links and names etc

Good. bring them with then.

I think it might work better with a 12 string. Heavier head and neck. Though maybe attaching a weight to the head would help. Isolating while playing could be hard, as playing involves holding the guitar, and that wouldnt be contact.

Mags a Yam Yam is a Midlander, wolverhapton/birmingham area. They say Yam a lot.
Things like "are you going to the shops" turns into Am yam gooin to thu shops" or "how are you" comes out "Ow am ya". I dont say the words but I seem to have the accent.
I hate our accent (as you may have noticed) and managed to lose it while I lived away but now it's back in full effect. Thanks Mr Strugz for making me realise how I speak frown

Bug - the sound of your own voice eh, you now understand what youve probably always sounded like (well apart from younger days when you were probably a little higher pitched wink)

I hate the sound of my own voice when listening back on tape - soundz nout like me ubblol i never thought i had much of an accent either till Oli asked me if i was australian eek i wish!

Just finished making my new staffs - i ended up using 45ft of kevlar rope in making the pair, they be very mean biggrin

All this should be preceded by "If I come..." wink

Alright, alright - I have this feeling I'm going to cave in and go smile

My main worry is money, but I guess it's as expensive as you make it...

Aside from petrol (hopefully I'll share a car), paraffin (3 or 4 should be enough), food and campsite fee plus ummm "fun things" wink - there's not much else to spend on

P'raps £40 for the entire weekend?

Durbs - like i said, if you drive to soton you are more than welcome to jump in my car from there biggrin

That will save ya a few squid - that will also divide my cars camping fee even more, saving even more money!

That is unless you have and other slices of toast that will be joining you?
