I've been juggling clubs for a while.

but now I have left the confinds of London. And I'm of for a trip a round the world. ubbloco juggle clap bounce2 bounce

As im not in the greatness of the London juggling and spinning clubs. I thought that I would start this of to keep up with you lot.

And to keep you informed of what is out there in the big wide world.

So the latest moves that I am working on are.

1 Flats:

most of all im trying to do flat back cross.

But also 522 combos with one of the 2's caught under the leg

also box and 441's

2 stalls:

Im trying all type of stalls on different places, feet legs, shoulder and the chin.

do you have any more to add to this.

that I could be trying

dame that 5b mills thing.

I have now been trying that for over 18 months. And though it feels like it is getting more solid. I still cant get more than 12-15 catches, and that is on a good day, and I am not having to many of them with that trick.

But I have been catching 744 and 645 on both sides.

A nice combo I was told about this week, was (4b) 534633.

And I got a 4b shower trick as well (shower with a leek) in the shower instead of throwing a throwing the high pass, throw a higher self. then just keep the space for that ball to land back in to the shower.

I have also worked out some nice 4/5b back of the hand multiplexs. But they are to hard to explain at the mo. ask me at spitz if you want them.

My tip for 5bmm is:

Become Thomas Dietz.

Steal his name, lock him up in your basement (or cupboard if you dont have a basement) and become him.

Well.... it worked for the current "Thomas Dietz". Not many people realise that the current one used to work in a Brat-wurst factory stuffing sausages. His real name is Tom Henderson.

Coleman - thanks for the videos, they're not as good as cooking fat or 3bdw.

UCOF, now that you understand this numbers malarky please can you tell me what the numbers are for that weird 3 ball trick you showed me at Spitz some time ago.

On a lighter note I got 3 rounds (15 catches) of 74635 last night and 97531 quite solid. now if only i could do 97531 continuously!

will your 7b record must be way above 30 catches now - i saw a run that lasted at least that on tuesday biggrin

your 7b pattern is looking *really* clean now too hug

and you're right about rad club news - its not as good as 3bdw (but then again not many juggling videos even compare to 3bdw!).
there's some gorgeous stuff in those club vids by ville - a whole section where he does nothing but cascase variations which is unbelievable and his club-swingy-dance-around stuff is beautiful too.
and his multiplexes... eek

yes, i want to be ville.
and maybe maksim at the same time.
i'd be a kind of french-finnish hybrid juggling god.

i didn't juggle at all last night - found something better to do... ubblove devil wink

There is either:

3 [2,2]

and there is also a 4 [2,2] but the 4 is on the same side each time.

I think thats right.

jon that is kinda mixed up - is the [22] a multiplex (holding two balls in one hand) - if so how does the pattern repeat?

4[22] is valid but is simply holding two balls in one hand and juggling two balls in the other.

i don't understand frown

try putting what you come up with into a simulator, and you will know when you have got the siteswap right smile

can you describe this trick without using numbers...?

right..um..
This is for the 3 [2,2]
lets call the balls Tom, Dick and Harry.

Tom and Dick are in your right hand. Harry is in your left. Throw Tom up as a 3.
Throw Dick and Harry across so they swap places.
Throw Dick (now in you left hand) up as a 3.
Catch Tom.
Throw Tom and Harry so they swap places.
Throw Tom from right hand as a 3.
Catch Dick.

Harry simply goes from left to right to left to right. It doesnt go up I think.

and the 4 [2,2] is exactly the same, except all balls are thrown. Just replace the 3 with 4.

Does that help anywhat?

the one you describe is (6x,2)(2x,2x)(2,6x)(2x,2x)

and the one with the ball staying on one side is (6,2)(2x,2x)

questions....

how do you do a 2x? i thought that was a hold? and is 64 just 3 in one hand and 2 in the other? umm

i've just been practicing 5, trying to get grace catches nicely (not with 5 tho), and learning the numbers stuff off the only video i've got at home with the no's at the bottom of the screen. trouble is that it's quite easy + short. stuff like 5241. except for the 531mills which is haard. smile

also how does a 441 mills work? do the 4's stay in the same hand or on the same side? umm

yeah, 64 run continuosly is 3 in one hand, 2 in the other but you can do a round of it out of 5 cascade like this: one round of 64 out of 5b cascade.

441 mills - the 4's stay in the same hands.

click that link i put in my last post here and type in 414 and select 'mills mess' under the 'hand movement' options.

remember to type in 441 and 144 too and have a look at those (414 simulates 441 mills with the 1 happening when your arms are uncrossed, which is the easiest one imo).
