but now I have left the confinds of London. And I'm of for a trip a round the world. ubbloco juggle clap bounce2 bounce

As im not in the greatness of the London juggling and spinning clubs. I thought that I would start this of to keep up with you lot.

And to keep you informed of what is out there in the big wide world.

So the latest moves that I am working on are.

1 Flats:

most of all im trying to do flat back cross.

But also 522 combos with one of the 2's caught under the leg

also box and 441's

2 stalls:

Im trying all type of stalls on different places, feet legs, shoulder and the chin.

do you have any more to add to this.

that I could be trying

i may need gloves too if we're gonna start passing clubs again though...
speaking of which, you should pass clubs more with jon (he'll never get any better unless ya make him! ).

Cole, you wimp. Warm up and then pass, it's not that cold at Spitz any more, me jonny, ads and martin were all in t-shirts last week.

I agree profutely...[Nx?] was crap at passing when i first arrived in Portugal and two months later all he wants to do is pass! (and teach me poi, but he's still failing!)

Eva - pass with Ucof, please?

got my best run of seven bouncing last night

just mastered it with 3 ball force bounce and it looks surprisingly nice. 4ball lift bounce mills is also nice but not as much fun when the balls hit and all four go in seperate directions!!

Bouncing is fun cos it's much slower than toss juggling, so there are some nice 3b mills variations to be learnt! Come to Brixton and i'll show u all!

i've actually got a tip for that!
been trying it with balls and found a nice way to give myself lots of time:

stick your club on your right foot.
flash 3 clubs (doubles or triples if you prefer) starting with the right hand.
on the last throw kick up.
catch club in right hand and on the return of the flashed clubs, go into a fountain.

think 5551.

worked lots for me smile

yep, your way is the standard one - the 5551 version gives you tonnes more time, especially on triples.
if you can do the normal one, you rock and need no more advice smile

i found going straight into it from cascade is too fast for me with a normal kickup (moreso with clubs i'd imagine) - can just about manage it with that garfield type kickup (the one where you grab off of your foot rather than kickup).
if i do a proper kickup i have to do the first 4, then the kickup at the same time as the second 4 to leave me in a fountain.
it all happens on both sides at once and i get all flustered!

coincidence about those balls - i got paid yesterday so i can afford to send them to ya now smile
so you can quit yer nagging real soon... wink hug

try putting the club with the handle on the ground and the bulb over your foot. You can then kick up stright into four without looking down.

33333444(kickup)4

you can go straight into four club fountain using this.

I tried doing kick ups into four for a while, but havn't for ages.

I found that how you kick up makes a big difference. I think Will does it in the Garfield style, without the kicked up club doing a spin, it just goes strait into his hand.

I was trying with one spin, and the timing I got was doing the kickup as you start the 444 flash from the opposite hand to what foot the club is on. This seemed to give the right timing, and I got it once or twice.

So mine went something like 333333[4kickup,4] 44444444

If I understand square brackets, then this is correct.

Seven clubs in two months is quite amazing. Does Tree have some good teachers or something??

Yesterday, me and Will where doing seven, and we made tennis. If you do an early triple from your left hand, then the person who catches it can throw it strait back as a tripple, so you get one club sailing over your 6 clubs underneath. This would work with early doubles in six clubs, but probably wouldn't look as nice.

Seven club tennis, I called it. Which was original I thought smile

i've now had a couple over twenty catches, but usually its between five and ten catches. my right hand has a tendency to throw back into the body slightly....pattern is definitely there tho.

i've just started on this, and someone who can do it says
'practise looking halfway up the balanced club. get really solid at that. then relearn to juggle(ie 1 ball, then two balls, then three...one club, etcetc)

mwaha!

the joys of new props.

lbs arrived today(hug for cole)

and this morning, with a burnt and sore arm, i have learnt the following:
new and bootiful way into (6x,4x)
15 7ball flashes in a row, then a couple of runs above 14.
somewhere above 20 catches of 75
10 catches (8x,6x)
flash 97

anyhow.
my point is:
was i on the verge of learning these anyway, or do having new toys make you learn things faster?

very much so.

it takes a while tho......about 30 months of club juggling for me to get to the above, but i've also spent a shitload of that time learning other props, so i'm guessing if you were only juggling about 2 years is pretty good.

of course its possile, in the same way that juggling 5 baboons whilst balancing a goldfish bowl, filled with pirahnas on a pool cue on your forehead is also possible, however i would prefer to believe that at this stage in my juggling career, that both are completely impossible :-)

Megafish, you know there is a website called 5 club jugglers, where everyone on it can juggle five clubs. Go find it, it's good.

And loads of them do tricks. There is a nice vid of 97531. This is the best juggling trick ever (probably tongue)

One day, I shall do this trick

P.S. I know you smile
