So Ive recently started eating fire. I love it and want to do it all the time but Ive found that you can only do it so many times in a day before you start getting minor burns in/around your mouth. Then you gotta wait a day or two for them to heal as to not screw yourself up worse. This isnt really acceptable for me though. I want to be able to practice it more than 25 or so times in a day. Does anyone have any tips on how to avoid getting burns or anything?

Hrm, thought Vaseline was slightly flammable? Could be wrong though.

practicing fire eating 25 times a day is going to lead you to far worse health problems in the long run than burnt lips.

vaseline? dont bother.

the principle of fire eating is to learn your limits - and know that split second when you have to remove the flame to avoid burns.

try not to go so hard - slow down a bit more as you practice - take the flame away a second before you need to - try to learn your limits from not being burnt rather that the opposite.

its better to act safer in the long term than be too enthusiastic and injure yourself.

take care.
