Started to do Ballroom Dancing last month and it if fantastic!!
Has anyone else done any Ballroom Dancing?
Growing old is mandatory; growing up is NOT.

Sanity is a highly overrated state of mind.

I had to do Ballroom Dance as part of school. At first everyone in my class did not want to do it, even the girls. But by the end of the term everyone was having a great time.
I found ballroom dancing quite fun and quite tiring at times aswell.
Shin: a device for finding furniture in the dark.
If you were going to shoot a mime, would you use a silencer?

My parents almost become Australian Title Ballroom dancers but then my father knocked my mother up with my older sister and they had to give it up.
But to this day I still love watching my parents dance...they are magnificent.
So during the years I have picked up a couple of the dances (very basic moves though) just by watching my parents.

It was always on my list of things to do, been working on my list over the last year or two, of things i want to learn or do, but its being but on hold for awhile due to Number One on my list - Travel.
But still would like to learn how to dance one day, when i have the time and money

I would love to take ballroom dancing, but I am single and have no girlie to dance with

no, but i've done salsa classes. it's kinda similar but with a lot more ass-shaking and wiggling about!

I've always wanted to learn some sort of dance style- ballroom, salsa, swing, whatever, but I've never gotten around to it. Sounds fun, though!

I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

The nice thing about ballroom dancing around here is that it include the standard stuff (waltz, foxtrot, etc.) but it also include the Latin and Swing dances. We get to do everything!

I actually took a Ballroom Dancing class with my Dad who is now president of the East Texas Ballroom Dancing club. I loved it, and can't wait to get back into it. My favorite is the Waltz!
I'm fixing a hole where the rain gets in to stop my mind from wandering....
