Listening to it right now. Very interesting, the tables seem to be turning! I don't want to voice any of my opinions. I don't feel I know enough, or have paid attention enough to it all to have a justified vioce (also the fact I can't vote!!)

But... It was my understanding that after lastnight, in the french debate (durn, missed the blabbling french tongue) Harper got a little squashed. Now... rising up again? Hmm. Was watching it with my family in the basement, but am now listening to it on the radio.

I find the NDP guy (Layton) funny... I've seen only half of it, but the first two times I saw him talk it was an *immediate* attack on the Liberals(Martin)! ubblol

Possible minority government??

So, just wanted to post this, see what us Canaducks think... Hmm, tension seems high!

I'm thinking minority government with the conservatives Saddly.
I'd rather see the NDP in power, or green, now we'd need a miracale for the party I suport the most to win.

Bobo I'm going to be in Halifax sometime this summer.
Gidg love your little avatar.
What we need in Canada, is to elect the Communist party of Canada. You may not agree with Communism, but you'd probably agree witha good bit of their platform. Stuff like getting away from being so dependant on America.

I see Canada becoming more independent of America, anyway, Achluophobia. Mind you, this is only based on conversations with the handful of friends I know who live there.

I have to say, it's a *good* thing. Canada is its own country with its own identity, and it's a land of opportunity for many.

Mind you, I'm a "crazy" yank looking to move north of the border. Seriously. Calgary just seems so much more appealing than, say...Houston. biggrin But then...I'm a geologist, and I live in one of the flatest places in the US with no mountains or rocks. How messed up is that?

SF.....with fingers crossed to find such an opportunity to move.

Yes yes, at least *I* know that now Quix!!

And I'm also too young to vote, but just (litterally, a minute ago) got word that Liberals won for my area... My brother is with the Liberals, so he's at a party right NOW.

I should go down and watch the rest of this, it's not like I don't have anything else to do. I was talking about this earlier with my dad, and he thinks that there will be less people voting this election, because they simply do not know who to vote for. I wouldn't know if I were voting...

On that hand, go Green biggrin

yeah, i read about that - does that mean that it's illegal to spoil your paper?

how do you register protest if you can't spoil it? and how do they know it's you anyway - presumably you don't have your name on it!
