U tell a riddle. Basic Rules. Guess it. He/she/thing who guesses correctly wins and tells the next one...

I'll start.

When it is broken, it still works.
Beating pains it not...

bit small and crappy, but a bit hard.

The existance of flamethrowers says that someone, somewhere, at sometime said "I need to set that thing on fire, but it's too far away."

Altho...would it disappoint you if I told you there is a much much simpler way of working it out? If it will then we can just pretend there isn't.

Sounds about right, i was trying to find simple way but i couldn't think of it so i thought i would be better off working it out.

So what's the easy way then?

Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams;
World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams;

yay! lol, ill take it if you want tongue

yet again im not sure if this riddle has been said but here goes

if a man was hung in a room that was completely empty except a cat, some broken glass and some water on the floor, and you were told that the man didnt have the guts to jump himself.
how was he hung?

(i know that was badly said but still)

We are the music makers, We are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams;
World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams;
We are the movers and shakers of the world for ever, it seems.

He stood on the cat!!! biggrin

But seriously, still working abit n the details, but something tells me it had something to do with a fish tank, which the cat subsequently broke while trying to get at the fish (Now kitty food).

Bit of a funny way to off yourself though...

seeing as no-one's posed in 4 day's ill take it upon myself in my boredom to do so

if a prison has 99 cells, all numbered 1 to 99 and each cell has a guard, each numbered according to the cell they guard, and one day they decide to have a bit of fun. if guard number one goes alone and unlocks all cells that are a multiple of one (numbers that 1 will go into) and then guard number two does it, but if he comes along an unlocked cell, he locks it, and so guard number three does it, and so does guard number 4, untill all the guards have done it. when it is left, whichever cells are open, the prisoner walks free.

which cell numbers are open?

(i know this is more logic than anything)

Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams;
World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams;

does every guard un/lock only the multiples of one or the multiple of his number..? if of one then every even cell is locked and every uneven unlocked..: o) the second.. well maybe only prime numbers are unlocked..?

only those doors are unlocked that can be divided by an uneven number of numbers..: o) eg. prime numbers can be divided only by itself and one, so they are locked... 4 can be divided by 1, 2 and 4 so it's unlocked.. and so on... and as I'm too lazy to list all numbers you have to go with this..

and the only numbers that can be divided by an odd number of numbers are square numbers.

1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81.

i haven't got a riddle right now so if someone else has got one then go ahead and post it, if not i'll come up with something in a few days.

~It's your girlfirend's phone number.

~It's 1 more than 854,917,631

~It's 1 less than 854,917633

~The wrong answer to 11 x 12
