A writting desk is almost never backwards because if it was backwards (facing the wrong way) it would be no use as a writting desk. But it might make and interesting conversation piece.

I assume that by the "shape" of the triangle he's asking for the angles and lengths of sides.

Who wants to figure this one out, but hasn't had the time to work at it!

"Come to the edge", he said. They said "We are afraid."
"Come to the edge", he said. They came.
He pushed them..... and they flew.

Not in so many words, but a sketch will vastly help you to solve the actual Q (the angle of G), and using the info you can draw yourself an accurate enough sketch. You dont need all the dimensions and stuff, just a good idea of what the triangle looks like.

Happy pondering campers biggrin

the triangle is a right triangle, and both the shape and the angle G are irrelivent if angle B is the right angle..

He's lying.

Here's a classic:

You have to walk through one of two doors.
Behind one door is life, behind the other death.
By each door is a guard.
One guard tells the truth, the other lies.
What one question can you ask to either guard to make sure you walk throught he correct door [need a smily with one raised eyebrow]

"If I ask the *other guard* what is behind his door, what will he say?"

Then go through the one that's "Death", so if they answer "Death" go through it, if they answer "Life" go through the other.

It took me about 5 minutes to work out what the hell you were talking about there DKD, but I got there in the end and am happy to award full marks to that clever man! Angle G = 15

Altho...would it disappoint you if I told you there is a much much simpler way of working it out? If it will then we can just pretend there isn't. biggrin
