So I just got my credit card bill (that's not the "eeek" part). On it it said that my next autopayment would be deducted from my bank account.
Now, before my last credit card was stolen, I had that set up so that I never actually had to pay a credit card bill. It was just auto-deducted from my checking account. Great.
But after that card got replaced, I haven't gotten around to setting that up again. So this puzzled me. So I called the customer service line and the guy told me that yes, it was all set up. But when he read me the routing and account numbers, it didn't match either of my two checking accounts!
Good thing I've been paying by check!

But just to add to my financial woes today, the ATM ate my ATM card because I was taking too long filling out the deposit envelope.
"Your card has been retained. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please contact your financial institution."
No "BEEP!" "Do you need more time for your transaction?" Nothing. Just...suddenly a click and there was the message on the screen.
New card is in the mail. 7-10 business days.

This is why I have found myself not possesing a credit card...I fear I'm not responsible enough to keep myself under control...buy now pay later. Thats too much for me!!!
