Welcome to the happy world of staffing! I´m sure you´ll learn very quickly, what with doing some poi already weavesmiley. I did it the other way around and it helped heaps.

Stafers unite! Soon, soon, those damn Poi people will lose control. And when that day comes this will be Home of STAFF!!!

I made a set of flaming bagpipes for a fireshow version of Rabbie Burn's "Tam o' Shanter" (so?) last year!! They were fun - couldn't really spin them much though biggrin

Traditional scottish instrument of music/torture. Consists of a bag which one blows through a pipe to fill with air, the bag is tucked under the arm and squeezed to expell the air through several different attached pipes all tuned specifically to cause maximum interference with a human being's brainwave pattern.

This affects different people in different way - some decend into frenzied screaming where as others feel suddenly compelled to remove all the loose change from their pockets and start photographing each other standing next to the perpetrator/musician.

They look something like this. I believe the bag was traditionally made from a hollowed out feral haggis. These days they tend to used imitation badger hide however.
