Wow!! Your hair looks fantastic Aimee...how long did you have your dreads again? I have always said that if I got rid of mine I'd cut em off, simply cos my hair would be in such a bad way...Id rather just Chop it and grow it out again. Not so sure now. But then I'm not planning on getting rid of mine any time soon...

My lord! Thats abit of a change! eek biggrin

I had my dreads for about 6 months.

Took about 6 hours in the end, but I did it over a few days so it wasnt so bad.

I went to a drum and bass night on saturday, and once I get dancing I dont stop.

It felt so nice not to have to wring the sweat out of dreads when it was time to go home ubblol

Hey Aimee, just noticed you're a Hastings Lass. I love hastings, especially old town. I lived in Tenterden for a bit, my Dad lived there for years, now he's in Ashford. I go to Kent to see my Dad sometimes, not been to Hastings for years tho...will have to pop down next time I'm in Kent smile

Hastings is ASBO capital of the south east apprently ubblol But I like it here. Its got alot of history and lots of nice things to see and do.

Theres a lovely vodka bar in the old town.
Does a stonking jaffa cake cocktail ubblove

Anyway - off topic!

If you were ever thinking of getting rid of yours the best thing to do would be to just try combing one out and see how it went!
I was expecting all my hair to be broken up inside the dreads, but it wasnt!

have found the perfect thing for banding my dreads, they are mane rubbers for horses, cost less than a pond a pack and are really strong

Wkd, they sound cool...I know someone else who used those me thinks! I was thinking of wrapping some of mine, could do with a lil cheery colour at the moment. You any good at those? I'm great doing other peeps but on my own hair it's a nightmare...bloody arm ache or what!!
