hey everyone! I just thought i would like to tell you that i must hold the world record for the highest placed that has ever been Poied at! I Poied at the top of the highest mountain in Europe-the Jungfrauioch which is in Switzerland and is over 3000 meters high! if you dont believe me goto www.ucof.1afm.com then goto Pictures then goto Misc. Its me that is in the snow! Do you think you can beat that? say if you can and make sure you have proof!

hmmm.. best I can do is 12,100 feet at some pass I can't remember the name of in Maroon Bells national park in the rockies, just across the way from Snowmass mountain which I got to the top of the next day.
let's see, according to 1 foot = 0.30 meters, that comes to 3688 meters.
I have a solitary witness, but she is recovering from Burningman right now, so it may take a while for me to document this properly...
and planes don't count - I've done that too, but refuse to count it.
I'm winning!

oh hey - that was with fire though. On top of snow mass was the highest I've spun regular poi without the aid of a lifting device.

I've spun on a glacier at the base of Mt. McKinley, though I am not 100% sure of the elevation, the pilot who landed on the glacier said we were at about 14000 ft, which would be 4200 meters.

we should have categories - plane, climb/assisted (drive up to top of hill, helicopter ride etc), and climb only. or something.
