Bug - the gates don't open until 10am...

No that's the entrance gates into the festival itself, not the car park or the queue for the door. Although it may have changed this year we usually arrive about 7am, get our sh1t together, walk to the gate, queue with everyone else and then the doors open at 9am. Although this year the only change I can see is it's 10 instead so if I arrive bout 9 should be all good or how would they let people in through the entrance if the whole site inc car parks is closed??
I think they're only turning folk away who arrive Monday/Tuesday and expect to get in and set up camp...or at least I hope so!

i heard that if you turn up early they employ giant spiders to tie you up like a fly and leave you dangling of the fortress walls next to a stereo playing Peter Andre's back catalouge as an example to all those who think about doing it next year..... eek

Since this is *the* official glasto ticket moan line...

Got my tickets last thursday, all ok, but: they printed my name on both tickets rather than mine and my girlfirend's  ..so phoned them up, they were all friendly & stuff, said they'd sort it out and send me a letter officially stating that the name on the ticket is wrong and should read my girlfriend's name.. so got the letter this morning: they totally screwed up the name again (it doesn't even sound like a name).. so am on phone again ...mad2

see all there (hopefully including my girlfriend wink)

grmpfff
