sorry theres no video here frown

(yet tongue)

i am currently in the middle of putting one together... me and a guy i taught to spin and my devil stick friend, filmed about 45 minutes of footage on friday biggrin

im trying to turn it into a video at the moment, but im having trouble deciding which bits i should cut out, i dont like having too many really short clips.

at the moment i have got it down to about 11:30 thats bout 5 minutes of devil stick and the rest poi. but im thinking thats still too long.

sooooo...... (getting to the point now eek)

is that too long?
how long is too long?

and if it is too long how do i decide which bits i get rid of?

cheers

Although that is pretty long, if you have the bandwidth to support it, I'm more than happy downloading something that long. I think a good length video is 6 minutes, but if you have 20 minutes of footage that can keep my attention, post it! There's no reason not to include all the original footage you can.

Hey Oli

In my experiance people dont mind downloading larger files so if its big - then go for it biggrin

What ive found is cutting footage together can be so difficult, its hard to decide which bits should be put where and which bits should be cut.

As you only have 2 people to get into the video editing bits should be a little easier as putting 10 people in a vid can be tough smile

Why not cut your clips into smaller sections and fade between the two of you - back and forth.

By splitting the clips down like this you may find that you end up duplicating some moves etc, which will give you some scope to shorten it..........

At the end of the day as long as your happy with what youve done and enjoy watching it youreself - im sure we all will biggrin

Hope some of my rambling has helped beerchug

my personal preferace for a video lenght would be between 4 to 5 mins but this is MY personal OPINION.

any longer, and it is likely to get too samey samey.

unless it is funny or there is enough diffenet stuff to keep my atgtention span.

then again, i do have the attention span of....ooooh look..a bee!
