pk (even though u dont do staff tongue ur videos are always imo the most well put together)

not only would i like to see all these ppl but id like to see them in beautiful scenery twirling during the day/dusk in footage taken with a tripod and with auto focus turned off fire not essential.

the way i see it if there are heaps of high quality entrys the boundarys will get pushed further faster and malcom will have an awesome product to sell that will hopefully come out as a dvd due to the massive demand. im going to put in an entry and i hope that my entry doesnt get on because the standard is so high this year *end rant*

so the point in this thread is to nudge and encourage ppl that have been to unorganised in teh past *cough*cough*rob*cough*cough* and those whos entrys have been awesome and stuck in my mind to enter this years competition

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourself, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous and talented? Who are you NOT to be?

I've got great footage of Samoan Fireknife Dancers - I shoot the World Fireknife Competition every year for the DVD.
I'd be happy to provide footage, just tell me what format and where to send it..........

I'd love to see Stone. He did a great routine the other week certainly worthy of being on COL 4. The bar i'm sure has been raised though. He's not interested however. Is it illegal to enter someone without their consent? smile
Actually i'd be glad to see anyone of reasonable standard so long as it's on DVD and quality of recording is good.

Geez, I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

This is actually a reply for *what* I would like to see rather that *who* I would like see.

I would like a big moves section.

Eg short videos showcasing the highest level of moves ever hit.

Forgive my ignorance with regards to the highest level of moves being attempted or even hit.

Examples:

Back to back (consecutive) hyper loops over the head.

Hard Isolation variations.

High level weaves (6/7/8/9?)

4 beat ttn btb.

These are just suggestions. I don't know if these are already considered easy. Its just the last COL contain very little in the way of high level difficult moves (I haven't studied it in great detail yet though). Great routines I admit.

Yes I know there was the odd isolation, airwrap/s, a stall. But no 4 beat btb, no ttn btb, isolation weaves, etc. Are these considered too easy? Ahh, too many questions, maybe this should be in another thread.

Um, thanks for the nice comments footbag. The cheque is in the mail and I promise to turn up every Sunday, promise wink Perhaps one day, and as you say, the bar has been getting higher with each COL.

I’d like to see a good nite with everyone from confest spinning their best, on a sandbar along the mighty Murray river. Confest is the spiritual home of fire in my part of the world.

I hope dantana has entered again, and I'd like to see some people coming back to see how they have improved over time. Go Jo. Cheers

Just read this and I have to respond to PK....
For years people have tried, and for the 5th year it is still to no avail. I am rather like Bigfoot/Yeti and Lockness Monster that way...people keep trying to catch my poi on video and yet it still remains elusive! wink

I so rarely pay attention to this section that I didn't even realize the contest was going on again (though tis the season so I should have guessed).

Therefore you will still be waiting to see me on video... :P wink

You know I love ya!
