ok, so this in in it's infancy but does anyone want to meet up in Falmouth sometime? When it's a bit warmer but before all the young students toddle off back home for the summer so I suggest sometime round end of May/early June time.

I guess so far we have the "to be confirmed" attendance from..

thats an old pic of meanpirth, but yes you get the point!

nice sandy beach, a lil stoney section as teh tides roll out, but you get that on all beaches, then after that (if we are spinning while the tides out) we have smooth sands!

it has a hard sandy carpark, for parking cars and sorting out eqp.

I've decided to be there for the whole weekend and past Monday night and just not bother with work until after Glasto has happened. Lots of mates in Brizzle should be able to put up with me (put me up?) on Tuesday night before we set off to sunny Pilton community performance arts gathering

If you see someone waving at people while going the other way on the motorway - that'll be me!

that'll make it twice we've failed to meet up!

ok checked the details of Pannance Mill Farm located here

Non-Https Image Link

It's cheap as chips. Basically if you take a car it's £4 per night with your tent or if you're just travelling by foot etc its £3 per adult per night. Bargain!!

Check more details here to see if it takes your fancy. It seems a little familty orientated to me but that doesn't matter if we spend most of our late time either in the pub or on the beach biggrin

yes, ist a nice lil family site (or it was teh last time i was down a couple of yrs back) my family went down last year, and said it was fine!

teh stuf you dont seein the pics are the 2nd toilet block, with showers, loos and so on, teh wash room, with sinks for plates, and such, it has a washing machine and tumble dryer, a TABLE TENNIS TABLE eek we used to spend all day on it, just playing around, its a nice site, run by a couple, she is ace, he is super cool, i used to work for him during teh summer as a hand farm...and so on!

ok so are we having one on teh 19th-20th (sat and sunday) of june when i am down? or would you liek a few more during the week or what?

i assume teh camping trip will be done later in the yr, ie july?

ok gus thats all from me! i give pennance mill 9/10, and as its only a 5min walk to beach, yes i sure you will all be sitting in the beach all day, and chilling all night! biggrin

If it's a family site might they not be to keen on a big group of folks turning up for a boozy weekend? should we just book individually? confused

5 mins from the beach is lush! peace

when i say family site, tehy do have groups of lads, and if tehy get to nosey, then the farmer will come over and tell you to sht up, but come on, they have had me for teh last 5yrs, and countless other crews and so on, im sure they can handle you, just ask when booking about groups of ppl, and im sure they will say, its ok so long as you are quiet ish!

you will eb fine!

OWWWW if you go down later in teh yr during peek seaon, teh famer has a disco up teh cow sheads, its awful, but a lugh at times!

ok guys if you will be tehre from 18th, then ill come down and pick up gear in eth car and go to beach taht way, means we dont have to worry about carring eqp! its a straight bendy road, no turns to take, no pathmet, just a straight nice walk to beach, YOU CANT GET LOST!

Deffo Meanporth the first night, then play it by ear and see what we find during the next day etc. We may aswell move our playing around so long as it's still within staggering distance back to the tent and isn't a horrid stoney-type beach.
