Posted:seriously, my roommate is coming to Australia in January for a semester and I'm considering joining her expressly for the purpose of meeting up with fire/light dancing people and doing fire/light dancing things. =)

Any suggestions? Specificly: Cities -- where there is an established/developing scene, clubs, parks, hangouts that i might swing by from time to time, pubs, etc. Would any of you be wililng to put me up for a weekend if I get a chance to travel around the countryside some? =) Who all is out there from the land of Kiwi's and Aussie's, (oh my!).

Posted:Hey Moon Pixie,

Josh and I went to Brisbane last year to visit one of my friends who goes to uni there. We asked on HOP if anyone twirls up there, no answer….

We were really miffed. So I hope you are picking up the act a bit of the firetwirlers over there. And be nice and humble to anyone who wants to come an twirl with you guys, instead of ignoring us. We really wanted to spin too.
----
Anyway, don’t come to Adelaide. If you are going to go anywhere I strongly suggest Sydney, heaps of cool people, lots of Trance parties…. weather not so bad. Melbourne is pretty cool too, weather no so good. And Brisbane is cool too, maybe now there are less slack Firetwirlers there

That's ok

Sorry, I didn't mean to come across so head strong and annoyed about it.

It is unlikely that we will be coming up to Brisbane as we are about to enbark on our adventure to Europe and we are saving madly.

Thanks for the kind words, and if we ever cross each others path we will have a great twirling time together.

*big hugs all round*

Far more deadly than the common Drop Bear. Dropus Koalus.

And of course we can not mention crocs without Stevie Irwin, "crikey she's a beauty"
