Arsn - i'm having trouble deciding if that was sarcastic or serious ... in any case, check out their website https://www.toolband.com
- you can d-load audio samples there..

- i'd go, but 78 dollars is 78 dollars i don't have....

Alright Fireboy, here's my tale.

Everyone keeps crapping on to me about 'the almighty powers of the internet'. All these "I logged on to ticketek.com.au and got the BEST seats" kind of stories. So I'm thinking to myself "Hmmm. Tool are notorious for selling out super fast, so I'll try this buying over the net thing." Especially as they are playing the Sydney Entertainment Centre where if you don't get good tickets you need binoculars.

I don't have a credit card but my mum does. She also has a ticketek account already so I got her details and told three friends I'd hook 'em up with dance floor or at the very least top seats.

The sale day comes. I log on at 08:30 to be prepared for the 09:00 frenzy. This turned out to be the best idea as crazy Tool fans flooded the sight and a workmate who was trying to get Alex Lloyd tickets couldn't even get on. ANYWAY, I'm sitting there hitting the 'refresh' button like a man possessed, unwavering in my determination to witness one of the greatest live acts around from up close. Then BOOM! 09:01 and I get the message "There is no delivery system for this event. Contact Ticketek online"

For 5 minutes I'm sitting there getting more and more aggrivated. I decide to call them on the phone instead. Took me another 5 minutes to get through at which point the tickets I could get were crappy. I decided not to take them as my friends and I had agreed we wouldn't settle for anything less than great tickets. I'm the kind of fool who lines up the night before to get good tickets and I would have done for this concert too, if I had known that was going to happen.

For the first time in my life I decided to complain. I wrote an email that was kind of like that movie The Wedding Singer, where Adam Sandler sings a song that starts nice and then goes rather nasty. I explained my plight and that I was extraordinarily dirty about the whole thing.

The response? "We appreciate your email and if you still need tickets give us a call."

So I called and got 4 dance floor tickets and an apology SO...........

YAH F**KING HOO!!! I gonna see TOOL too!!

God, I haven't seen that band in soooo long. Not since before Undertow came out. I bought tickets the day of the show and I saw them at a small place called the Ogden theater. They were awesome then, but then Prison sex and sober hit on the radio and their shows started selling out in twenty minutes, so I never got to see them again.

Jesus helps me trick people.

$78 (AU) is $40 (US) though Matt. Which isn't as much. Still quite hefty I think. But not so bad.

Wouldn't pay £30 (UK equivelant)to go to a concert for any band meself. But that's just me.

wow.. thats still a little too much than i'm willing to pay. I am going to a raver-like event in a couple weeks that cost me 50 dollars for tickets. But as opposed to an event that will last 2 hours.. this lasts 12 and there are 48 of some of the best DJs spinning around.

Although.. TOOL would be a show to see.. they freak me out a bit, but def intruiging.

I dreamt that I ate a 10 pound marshmellow and then when I woke up, my pillow was gone!

Basically, much congratulations and to reiterate, lucky bastards. Have a ton of fun.
