What is psychology?- Looking for a black cat in a dark room. What is psychoanalysis? Psychoanalysis is looking for a black cat in a dark room -- in which there is no cat -- but finding one anyway.

It's a good thing as far as I'm concerned, Babajaga. So far, my 30's have been pretty good (although admittedly I'm not even 6 months into them)

The 30's rock. Maybe once I cross into my 40's I'll be saying "the 40's rock!!" but my 30's have been sooo much better than my 20's. It's a nice balance between youthful energy & wanting to try new things combined with a more solid perspective on who you are and what your limitations are. It's like you have the energy and know how to use it more wisely. Though I don't think I'm a very mature 36. ubbangel

But yes, I'm with GothFrogette & nite owl re: having people to reminisce with. Though I'm not sure remembering the 80's is a good thing. I did love parachute pants though. ubblol

taken out of context i must seem so strange

i am really not looking forward to being 30 frown don't know why i think its the whole your 30 and what exactly have you done with your life, how ever i look at the other 30 and 30 somethings on the school play ground and think wow they look old, but they do even the ones in the jeans and heals, ok doesn't help that they all dress in the most 'fasionable' thing going but still.
infact the thing i am dreading most is being old but still dressing young.
