it is the japanese equvillent of chess, but with a 9x9 board, some different pieces and if you take a piece then it is yours and you can put it back into play on your team.

It sounds dead good but I'm crap at chess so will probably be crap at shogi too......can we play online against each other?

sounds a bit Go-ish.

i've been enjoying games of Karom and Backgammon with spinny types recently

and i just got a spanky new backgammon set for my birthday

time to start practicing to stop jonny moohaahaa and Kev from whuppin my ass spank

backgammon rocks. i'm quite the mistress at it. only met less than a handful of people who can beat me biggrin

and i have actually backgammoned someone, and gammoned someone many times.

I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.
