I might have space - otherwise I'd offer the sitting room floor, but for that you'd need to consult Miss Molly wink But if you're coming up for the festival, then you should just stay awake for 7 days, or sleep in the Spiegeltent, the centre of all festival life (and expensive drinks). Four nights in a row in that place - must stop the drinking and socialising and get some sleep!

ok when is the best time to come up then - I now have no reason not to come... except for lack of money, ahem. But that can hopefully be made back on the return to Bristol. smile

any week is good. The festival will force the city to b infested with touristy types, yahs and all manner of other undesirables. Why do they let them in?

Yeah - quite probably - I was the tall guy with the shaven head who did a bit of poi for a while then slacked off to the Spiegeltent for some beer (tonight will be night 5 in that place smile

Yep - the festival officially starts on the 8th and finishes on the 30th, but if you're wanting to come up and your time is limited, then make sure you're here over a Monday (firey Meadows fun). As for shows, there is way too much stuff on - https://www.edfringe.com
for some ideas. Oh, and there's always the fantastic fireworks show around the 2nd of September to mark the end of the festivalities... but whatever you decide, it'll be great to have an EJC reunion in Edinburgh! hug
