um, the cow was a male?
Cows are strictly female, and at what point did it imply this cow was a bull? Besides the reference to Mao Tsu-Tung. But it was "Cow Tsu-Tung" in the song implying that it was a female, again if the presence of utters didn't already affirm this.

maybe its a locational thing, but around here a cow is a generic term... Bull for male hefer for female.
