I'm interested in how far paganism came down the line, seeing as that's what i tend to call myself when people ask. It's changed though - my beliefs i mean. Last time i did this, over a year ago, it DID come out as pagan on top.

Apparently im 100% Unitarian Universalism which seems to be the most popular religion so far, which makes me feel very unoriginal.

Did anyone else find that they got Unitarian Universalism just because they didnt believe most of the more extreme beliefs i.e. no afterlife etc?

i dunno, it's quite odd to be told I have a religion when i don't believe in organised religion.

Maybe I missed something...

I call myself Christian... so I am glad to see that it is at the top

Someone asked why are there so many Christian based ones? coz Christianity has stemed out into alot of differant things... and most of them arent quite the same... it's all kinda weird... but oh well.

Oh, if you want to know what each one is, when you finished the quiz and all the differant religions came up if you clicked on them it said what they were and all that information.

unitarian universalism is a very cool 'religion' (and i use the term loosely) which basically means you can do whatever you want!!!

but no, there is a bit more to it than that...

try here...

I had a dream that my friend had a
strong-bad pop up book,
it was the book of my dreams.

Hmmm, It's interesting how many of the results had Quakerism in, but I guess it kind of makes sense (well it does to me:) ) It's definitely a "religion" that should be more well known.

From reading what they have about Unitarian Universalism it's top on everyone's list because you can believe in pretty much anything and still be a UU'er. I'm sure I'm simplifying, but the way the quiz worked there wasn't much you could write to *not* be one biggrin

you couldn't believe in just anything, i think quakerism and other liberal religions are up there because there are quite a few liberal minded people on this site!!

but if you put in that you belive the bible word for word or something, then it would come up with a religion which suited that belief - maybe a load of us just haven't decided yet.

liberal quakerism is also different from orthadox quakerism which is rooted very strongly in christianity and puritans and stuff. just now with all the free thinkers around quakerism has branched out to include all sorts of weirdos wink

Yeah, I was being slightly toungue in cheek about UU - it's just that the definition of it on their site says "very diverse beliefs" for all the important questions biggrin (Which is of course more a function of trying to get a religion down into a set of tick boxes than anything to do with UU as a faith)

And one of the things I like about quakerism is it's ability to accommodate novel/radical thoughts... it's definitely the closest religion to my beliefs. But I'm going to check out UU and Humanism a bit more now...

This is wierd.

There is a world made of air, one of earth and one of water.
And there is one made of fire, and all of them fight for supremacy. They are fighting now, in my head.
