Somebody pleeze tell me . what is the name of that fire proof fabric? I need to buy some and no one seems to know what i am talking about. i know it exsists.. It's black and uhhhh. it's FIREPROOF... umm

nope it is'nt kevlar. it's not for wicks or clothing.
we got a small piece of this mystery material at BURNINGMAN, it was used to put the poi out. We wrapped this material around the flaming poi, and it smothered the fire.
i am located in southern oregon,near the ca. border. where are you?

i think you will find the fire proof fabric in question is thin polythene, like you get in shell suits.
drip a little parrafin on it and you have the ultimate fire proof fabric umm

my original signature was tooo long.
this one is shorter
