Here it is
The so called "TERRORISTS" are winning and the US and UK are helping them in their work.
All it takes is for someone on the other side of the world to send an e-mail, and the US and UK go absolutley nuts, sending up F14 fighters to escort passenger flights into military airports, restraining civilians without warrent or acces to lawyers, and interogating civilians in military camps such as camp X-ray, in direct violation of international laws regarding human rights.

All of these actions by a nation supposedly in favour of "Truth and Justice" quite frankly disgust the majority of nations around the rest of the world. mad
Its like having a drunk come in and piss all over a dinner table where other nations are attempting to hammer out some agreements amongst themselves.

The so called war of Hearts and Minds is certainly going to have an effect all right but probably only on the US military, who will still wander around shooting at ,and blowing up Iraqi civilians while scratching themselves and asking "why the F*UCK are these obviously backward simplistic people not greatful for all the things weve done for them?"

I'll be traveling around the world later this year and I'll be wearing a BIG FU*KING SHAMROCK HAT as well as a KISS ME I'M IRISH T-shirt so that I don't get mistaken for an American or British pro war NUT

Now let those flames fly baby -I'm ready for ya....

PS. I know that not all Americans or Brits are Pro war- my sympathies go out to those in the contries of the so called "Coalition of the willing" who weren't willing at all, but got dragged along anyway

Well said. We really have shot ourselves in the foot with all this. The question is: did anyone ever believe that a "war on terror" could be won?

I sat down last night and started to re-read Michael Moore's "Stupid White Men" I read the introduction and just about vomited. I saw how he tried to blame namely Bush, for the errors of the whole country. Keep in mind when the book was being written Bush had only been in office a year. Now I am not a political analyst nor do I understand everything about how the stock markets work, but I find it hard that the president can really control how people buy or sell.

Perhaps someone can explain this to me.

Now blaming Bush for Isralies killing Palistinies and Muslim extremists hating Christians and etc. is just kind of lame. It is as if the world is looking for someone to blame for the world’s problems, and they choose an easy target. While I wont say that he has helped the situation, to place the blame solely on one man is not the answer either.

Can anyone say, "Disgruntled"?

Hmm,
The ironic thing is Laytin, ummthat I sort of agree with the statement that it isn't entirely GWB's fault.
It seems quite obvious that he is merely the front man for other interests within the American political/industrial web, one only has to listen to the mess that he makes of a speech when he attempts to ad-lib and deviates from the carefully prepared one given to him by his pr people.

However he is still, nominally at least, the President. Doesn't he have final responsibility for the actions of those under his comand? confused

Also, I just heard that random fingerprinting and photography is going to be inflicted on people entering the US.
this will seriously affect tourism in the US innocent people DO NOT like being treated like criminals... mad

Isn't the dollar weak enough already? have you looked at the relative strength of the currency recently? last year it was at parity with the Euro now its at $1.27=€1.00
Thats a loss of 27% in value over the space of one year!
Good for us ...bad for you...

I'd be getting seriously worried about your economy if I were you guys...checked the value of your stocks and shares recently?

Well the Euro is the conglomeration of how many countries while the US is... one?!?

I dont have any stocks or shares, but the US economy is always in a state of ups and downs. However this year it ended up smile GWB took office during the start of a ressesion. This I still dont believe was his or Clintons fault, well atleast untill someone can proove that the President (who ever it is at the time) is really in control of the economy.

Did you know that in order to cash a check (cheque) in a bank that you dont have a membership at, that you have to be fingerprinted? Did you know that police reccomend that you fingerprint your children incase the worst should happen (worst being abduction). Fingerprinting really isnt that big of a deal anymore, especially since they came out with this neat type of ink that doesnt stain your fingers.

You know, you really shouldnt pick at someones petty flaws, because we all have them. So what if he cant stick to a planed speach, public speaking might scare the hell out of the man and he looses track yadda yadda yadda.

Though I dont think he is just a front man, a key player and a front man, but not the root of all evil as some would believe.

beerchug Cheers smile

How does having your fingerprints taken significantly limit your freedom?

Apart from having to wear gloves when burgling.

(For the record, i've taken fingerprints of hundreds of people. The vast majority were not criminals. The only one who ever took exception to me 'treating him like a criminal' was, in fact, a criminal. rolleyes)
