its very early.

but, what ho my lord?

news from the east?

https://cirque-bout-du-monde.ath.cx/pages/langues/indexgb.htm

or

(its the same site but easier to remember): www.ejc2004.org

I hope to be attending seeing as i will have lots of student loan left, and by the sounds of it, its a damn good laugh.

Robert Harrt should be there too! we can make much fun at him.

or i could just tell him exactly what i think of him... biggrin

yes, that would be fun

bit naff not having the dates anywhere on the website tho isn't it.

i mean they did put the days with some numbers next to them in the programme... but then assume you know its in july. which it isn't usually... confused

grumblegrumble.....

I'm most likely going to be headed to the EJC from London.

Is everyone flying over or getting the train or are people driving and mayhaps have space?

Me thinks me will drive. I've heard of maybe hiring a van and then spreading the cost. It's so close (to London) that I can't really see the point of flying, especially with the amount of stuff we will all have. ubbrollsmile

Heh Ho
I'm not sure at the moment when I shall be travelling to Europe.
Depends on wether I'm working at Antaris.
But my plan in Europe is probably not including an immediate return to the Uk after the EJC.
I plan on a tour of busking and shows around Europe, maybe a few festies too. People are welcome to join, if we get on.
This may effect wether people want a lift over there. If you're not into the Europe thing afterwards, you can still get a lift over there and i'm sure you'd be able to get a lift back to the UK from meeting peeps over there.
I'll let people know, when im leaving when I know.
I've almost bought a Mini-bus, which i'll be converting - so pleanty of room
Get in touch if you want a lift or see ya peeps out there ubbrollsmile - Bring it on!!

Can someone smarter than me explain how to preregister?

The EJC site may very well be the worst website I've ever wanted to visit. When you click 'preregister' you get a download of an adobe acrobat file that doesn't actually download.

All I really want to do is pay via credicard!

Someone who understands european please explain!

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.

Click on the English Flag.
Click on preregister.

Above the gray block on the page there's a french and english flag again. Click there and robert's your father's brother.

And don't be so hard on yourself! wink

Dude... I'm so excited for EJC... and without Coleman or DeepSoulSheep, I'll DEFINITELY be the 452nd best poi guy there. biggrin

Yo... seriously... somebody needs to be put in charge of making sure I put on enough suntan lotion. Apparently, I'm not old enough to remember to do that myself... I'm still peeling from my last festival.

So excited to see all you guys. And I gotta remember to sign up to volunteer at the beer tent as well. We all should storm a shift. How fun would THAT be?

Well, shall we go?

There's a raver community called "geriatric ravers" for ravers over the old age of 26. They've got their own website and all...

We may need a "geriatric camp" at EJC. All these kiddies are going to scare me with their rock and roll music and idealistic view on life and such... wink

I'll join ya mate - we can smoke pipes and wear slippers and use slang words the wrong way and grumble about how it's not like it used to be

(Not that I'm an EJC vet, but I'm older than I used to be, and I long ago swapped my ideals for one more burn's worth of paraffin...)
