OK, quick thread hijack so I can do a search next year....

Top things I wish I had at EJC that I'll be sure to bring next year:
- Crappy Flip Flops for wearing in the shower.
- Henna.
- Games for sitting in the shade and being slack.
- Remember to shop before the last day!

Things that we had that were key and I should remember to bring next year:
- Gazebo
- Vodka Watermelon
- Shorts
- Sun Screen
- Blankets to lie on
- Extra Tent
- Tons of Water
- Ear Plugs
- American Shorts with tons of pockets
- Wide range of warm/cool clothes
- Hat to screen the sun
- Nice space to camp
- Food to share

What else did I forget for next year? Guys?

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.

Oh yeah... and Cole and the Princesses will flake every year. That's my prediction.

Every year they say: "Oh yeah, I'm totally gonna come down for EJC yeah I promise yeah I'm totally gonna be there it's cool..."

And then they go to Glastonbury.

And the tune changes to: "Oh I'm totally skint... I'm burned out... I need a break... Next year I promise."

So as long as Glastonbury is a week or two before EJC I don't think we'll ever get those crazy kids.

Sad but true. frown

Well... we can always hope and dream ...

See you all except for Cole and the Princesses in Slovinia. Maybe.

Ptuj in Solvenia is 950 miles away. If you drove straight it'd probably take about 15 hours from Calais. You have to go through France, Belgium, Germany, Austria and then you get to northern Slovenia and Ptuj. Apparently it's beautiful. We need a mule to take comfort and equipment. I'm up for the drive and stopping eveywhere on the way, who's me driver's mate? smile

umm when you said Germany, did you mean Austria? yeah, that's what I thought.

s'meeeeeee Ben!!!
yay!!!!
ejc was fantastic-amazing-wicked-incredible-lazy-fun and matt- i might even have started to do a little wibbling myself as well as the usual dribbling in your honour.

hmm- tim, lidiya and I didn't go to holland in the end- we decided it would be the end of us motivationwise. wow hehe Instead we fumbled about for another evening in carvin before heading to lille and spending all our remaining money on inter-rail tickets leaving Tim and I with no money for food or accomodation... hmm... interesting
we then chose to head to Zurich as we heard there was some sort of festival there. It turned out to be a massive techno rave street parade with over 3.5 million people, foam parties, techno and psytrance galore and random-everyone-dressed-up-and-feely-good-vibes the week after we arrived (PSI you would definitely have loved forever and ever as much as we did!), so we stayed there for the week.
The best thing was that we took much note of Canada Bob's street performance workshop and after a few flops started making some nice cash with our fire performances and stuff. We earnt the vast majority of the campsite fee and borrowed some off wonderful lidiya for food (and have an inter-rail ticket!).
After that we moved on to austria for some mountain-goat-fun. hmm.

anyway, I'm currently back in madrid for a couple of days to see my bro before he heads off to live in guatemala. Then meeting up with T&L possibly in paris or maybe prague (where they are at the moment and send their regards) before heading back to spain for some R&R.
Unfortunately I don't think we're heading boom-ways, but who knows... we shall see when the time comes (we have no money to pay for tickets- but can travel there if anyone knows how we could get in free/ help out with shows etc).

wow, big rant over.

love to all, off to sleep!
zzzzzz.... hug biggrin ubbrollsmile

wow man! I've been wondering how you guys got on. Last I knew of you, you were heading to Amsterdam, so I assumed that's why you hadn't been in contact... wink
The rave thing sounds amazing and I glad you started pulling money in from the busking too, I cant wait to hear about it!
Keeping the Chimaera flag flying, Sy and I are also working on a street act - with the obligatory sword fight (you know Sy!)

Hope to see you at some point in Madrid... or hey, the BOOM thing might still work out - if we get word from Mike. smile
see you soon
