Posted:Hi I know that Poi's are an old Mauri toys that they used to use to keep their fingers supple for weaving and the men used them for strenght and co-ordination for fighting - so poi's must be pretty old.. Don't know about the rest./. sorryRed

Posted:I'm pretty sure that staff came first about a gazillion years ago beacuse it is easier to get a big stick and whack people with it than it is to attatch a rock to a rope.
