Well, we survived the last one. Some of my body hair has grown back, and Geoffrey should be out of hospital by January... so why not do it all over again? Lyndon would have wanted us to... and I think Isobel is still in the park somewhere anyway...

For those of you who weren't at the last firey fandango, I shall be throwing wide the doors of my (borrowed) Sevenoaks home, and inviting anyone and everyone to come and spend the weekend. There will be lots of paraffin, lots of spinners, lots of all sorts of things in fact. Including baked products. Y'all are welcome to come for as long or as short a time as you feel like - stay for a week or just pop in for a spin over the weekend. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of bed space. Or floor space, unless they bring even more lap-tops than last time...

For more details and some critics' reviews see 'Kent 28th - 30th Nov', but bear in mind that this one is going to be a whole lot better. There will be:
weavesmileyMore bed space! (well, at least one extra bed)
weavesmileyMore Michal Kahn! (author of 'Poispinning', mentor, and all round poi goddess)
weavesmileyMore baked products! (going to start baking any day now... fill up the attic)
weavesmileyMore weird stuff going on in the garage! (see 'Pounce... parental discretion is advised)
weavesmileyMore working computers! (It's fixed it's fixed at last at last!)
weavesmileyMore cute poi boys!
weavesmileyMore foxy poi chicks!

So write it in your diaries, tingle with excitement, stock up on paraffin and get ready to set the town on fire! (note to Big Brother: this is a metaphor)

See you in January... ubbloco

and more jellly wrestling and thwappage?

cheers everyone for making the weekend what it was (even if 4 of us disappeared off on the saturday)

i personally thought the best bit was when Konsti was told he looked like a girl by a 5 year old.

but that is a lie. Konsti does not look like a girl.....

he preferes the term "hybrid"

I'm home myself. Got in last night...ten hour flights suck big time...especially when the man next to you has rotten breath that you just can't get away from.

Ew.

My week and several days was fantastic...and it was a treat meeting all of you.

I still can't believe you ACTUALLY had jello wrestling.

LOL

That weekend was great, thanks for being such a fantastic host Joe biggrin

I'd say more, but I've still not quite recovered, even though I've just slept for 15 hours smile

Ah, the joys of realising you have one day of holiday left and that you can book it for post party-packed-weekend recovery biggrin

Quite surprisingly, even though I lost my contact ball partway through the night, I managed to find it again. It's probably the wallace and grommit sock it was in that made it pretty easy to find smile
The juggling ball I have lost is purple, but I'm not entirely sure it's still at the palace, since I didn't use it there, it might be in quite a few other places.

Yay! So glad you made it home safe and sound - Mand's got another couple of hours to go, but then I think everyone will have made it home alright, and the weekend will really be over.

Lots and lots of love to everyone, and thank you all for making the effort to get down here, for bringing all your toys, for putting up with my neurotic cleaning rants (even forestalling them by doing all the cleaning yourselves, some of you!) and for being such exciting and enthusiastic people.

You know that you're all welcome to drop in whenever - if you find yourselves with nothing to do for a day or two then come by and we can sweep the street, jelly wrestle in the kitchen... maybe even have a spin...

See everyone soon. ubblove

Who gets what?
I reckon, due to my first pin, where I had you on the ground for at least 5mins (where averyone was too bust staring at bums to count down!), I should officially win the jelly wrestling and keep my title! biggrin
And you get to keep your status with your tongue! ubblol

Sad to say, Mand, but Pounce is right.

I watched the videos and laughed! Yeah...I had a great time during my brief Kent visits.

I shall have to get out to another one...somehow.
