what does it mean when i try to log on to HoP and i get a white page after much waiting that says*gateway timeout error* or some such message?is it my computer or is it an internet thing....? confused

Basically part of the chain of computers that link your PC to HoP (about 24 of them) isn't responding quick enough.

I think the HoP ISP isn't too well at the moment and it seems to be down every now and again. Or if your ISP uses a proxy server to store pages that may add to the problem.

It shouldn't be a permanent problem, so if you wait a while then try again it you shouldn't get the error again. If it keeps happening let us know.
