I was telling Charles the other day that one of the things I really admire about him is the fact that he is sooooo incredibly and openly in love with his soon to be wife.I spent some time at a party recently with PWB. There were people there who ignored their significant other, or worse, bitched about him/her incessently behind his/her back (as well as other friends). There were some married men there who hit on other woman, and they weren't joking about it. Now, PWB and I do not spend all our time together at social events but we do those across the room checks, where we meet eyes and wink or something, and it always make me melt. Eventually we meet, share a pda and keep on going with our mingeling. I realised that I admired this about PWB as well. In this day and age where it is "cool" to badmouth the s.o. or pretend like you don't have one, there are so many people who fight against the grain, and I admire that.On this board, those I know of at least,SupermanCharlesMalcolmN8 and GirlfrommarsPWBJosh and KatincaNYCCassandraI am not excluding anyone, just these are the ones I can recall who wear there ball and chain with pride and after being at the party, I thought a round of kudos were well due! smileAnd if, you belong on the list and I didn't name you, well then speak up and Kudos to you too! grin------------------Pele Higher, higher burning fire...making music like a choir...https://www.pyromorph.com

My favorite thing is that she takes care of our social calendar. One of my friends will aks me what I'm doing this weekend. I'll reply with whatever my g/f says. They ask if I'm letting the woman run my life.I'm not really. I'm just lazy and she's got a better mind for things like that.I tend to have a memory like a siv. Actually it's more like a giant Lego bucket. It's all there, I just can't find it when I'm looking for it. I remember her name, birthday, and where she lives. Everything else is icing on the cake.We arm wresled in a restaraunt a while ago. While struggling the manager walked up and watched. He suggested I let her win. My reply was that she'd get mad at me (it'd be like lying.) I ended up winning. She says I'm stronger. If I am it won't last long. She's been using the poi and staff and they're making her arms a little stronger. Maybe I should get nervous?------------------FYI: I am not Pele. Thank you Lynn. (makes gushy 'aaawwwe' noise)Its good to see that someone else thinks that way. You know it real when the person you're with is fun to have around. Its even better when they spin fire with you!!! (You're the best dear.)PWB is right. (It was Mark if I'm not mistaken) Having a Sig. Other that is cool to be with at parties is the best because then you never have to make plans. Wait a second... I ALWAYS MAKE THE PLANS!!! The Martian will tell you that of all the things in her life that she has planned, only about 2 have worked out. sigh. Don't worry dear, its all good.------------------Care of other people's approval and you become their prisoner.Live fully, Rave wholly.Fluid are the movements of my strings...

N8, if you would stick to using the board names please. If I wanted my real name to be used I'd have signed in that way.As for Pele her real name is spelled differently, however, please use Pele for addressing her here.Thank you.As it turns out, I plan parties fairly well. I just don't like to keep track of the weekend events. Movie, party, gig.------------------FYI: I am not Pele. I was waiting for the punchline on that Super!! Evertime PWB tries to say something like that he ends up laughing in the middle! As for the arm wrestling thing, he has stronger wrists (believe it or not) than I, and forearms. It was deadlock for awhile though so....I still think he can take me though. And I imagine I am not the only female side of a relationship here that gets pissed if the male "let's" us win!N8, have you two set a date for the wedding yet? (And it is Lynne, I just never felt like correcting you! wink)Smooch on people! smile------------------Pele Higher, higher burning fire...making music like a choir...https://www.pyromorph.com

I think you guys have all got it right! My last long term relationship was the same. We were living our lives together, not living the same life. We were regular clubbers and socialisers and we'd be at a club or party and we'd happily wander off to seperate rooms, groups, etc... but still be there very much together! The need to hang onto each other 24/7 scares me a bit, sweet as it is smile

PWB - You shouldn't be worried, you should take up staff yourself, it sounds like you've got a good grounding even before you begin...NOW I'M GOING TO GET MYSELF INTO DEEP DEEP TROUBLE WITH THIS NEXT ISSUE......to all the guys out there, the key is to let them win without them knowing you've let them win. But it doesn't mean you will be able to, sometimes they are just better than us, and they think we are letting them win.***sigh*** women, you just can't win with them... wink------------------Charles (INFERNO)newdolbel@hotmail.comhttps://juggling.co.nz

N8...You know I would be there with all my fire breathing finest! smileIs she going to have alien antennaes instead of a vail? grinSo we have two HoP weddings for 2002 and one scheduled already for 2003, and had one in 2001? Damn! I have never seen that many hook-ups on a bb before, especially a small (but growing wink) one! No, not Alien antenna, But she does want to get angel wings to put on her dress. rolleyes Personally I thought horns and a red tail would a bit more appropriate, but I don't think that will fly well with her. grin (N8 cringes waiting to get whacked in head).....Pele, Honestly I would love for you to come spin/breathe at our reception (humble grin), when i get a solid date and place I'll be sure to contact you via email.Cassandra, those gif images ROCK!------------------Care of other people's approval and you become their prisoner.Live fully, Rave wholly.Fluid are the movements of my strings...
