I am not single, so I shouldn't be here-- but i am sneaking in anyways, cause tonight i really wish I was single... !!!!!

I suspect that means either I will make myself single soon, or perhaps go back to being multiple... sigh.

It is hard to leave when there is so much love. But when the love is so f-ing complicated, I think it maybe for the best. I dont really do complicated any more.

sigh.

wow did I ever kill this thread! lol sorry guys... on with it, be cheery!

Thanks for the hugs...

Complicated.

Well, I am not anymore. I live very simply, with a lot of joy and silliness, hard work, and integrity. I just function with open honest kind compassionate communication at the base of every interaction.... surprisingly , it works well in my life.

But, my boyfriend is still working through past baggage, trauma, patterns of behaviour developed before conscious of it. Sometimes it makes him secretive, edgy, untrusting, blocked emotionally. He does not have full conscious control of it yet. I did that work, we all do-- but now I just want to get on with enjoying simple love. He cant quite do that consistently, cause the fears and blocks and past stuff interfere.

Basic problem is when he is most himself, love flows freely, we are both happy. Yet when something triggers past issues with him, he shuts off, goes internal, changes his behaviour for no reason apparent to me, and the love gets all tangled. It feels , to me, like an on/off switch .

I just dont have patience for it, because he does not let me help-- when in that state I am just cut off. I am pretty clear what I want from a relationship, and it became apparent i was not likely to expereince it with him anytime soon.

I need to live in the present moment, and he is not always capable of joining me there. So I had to let go.

But it is fine now, no worries, just had to make the adjustment, and it felt awful to leave such a beautiful man. But we are all beautiful creatures, in one way or another, aren;t we. Lots to love in the world!

BansheeCat: I know exactly the place your ex is in, since I was there for a number of months. Still am to a certain extent. Luckily I found someone who can live with it, so stuff is pretty peachy at the moment. It is also happening less now. I wish both of you luck. :hugs:

ARGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH MEN! (sorry guys but you may all be lovely but i just attract d**ks so am totally feeling the need to rant)

Ok been chatting to this guy for a while we met up got on just as well as we did for real and stuff as we did online and we decided to meet for a second date.

We had our second date and basically now wont actually chat txt or speak to me full stop what is the matter with the friggin world why can't if he didnt wanna see me again just say so wasnt like we were engaged to be married or anything just would be nice to say ok i dont feel for you like i thought i would or what ever crap that men sometimes spout!

Why do i either attract total d**ks or total users? where have all the nice guys gone and why are they always gay if i do meet them?

I am ttoally at the point that the nun option is looking rather tempting right now!

Oh well, better to find out he's a jerk 'cos he won't speak to you than finding out 'cos he won't shut up and go away..

I'm sure there's some not-jerks-not-gay guys around somewhere...

Shame they have girlfriends already wink

Well.... Having spent a week travelling around on my own, I've decided I don't like myself enough, so there will be no more girlies for Chris until I've learnt to be OK on my own.

At least it will make life more simple!

As for you Roar, it could be that you're too pretty, and as such no guy will ask you out cos it's obvious that you're far too good for the likes of him...

Severely disillusioned?

Wouldn't that mean they were right? wink

It is supposed to be pretty common- when all guys look at a girl and think 'Waaay out of my league'.. except drunken idiots.

Wouldn't know myself.. Though I do attract my fair share of drunken idiots.

You see? If you only get drunken idiots, then my hypothesis above fits!

There's a magical point twixt consumption and confidence where we'll (us guys) will talk to girls. However, sometimes we overdo it (I know I do) and just slur like crazy that "you're fit, you are" and that's usually where it goes wrong. This is very well illustrated in this graph. Listed as skill of programming, it still fits smile
