(im going to laugh so much is Vanize makes a singles topic at the same time! lol!)

i would have changed ***** to phallus, and claire to petey Petey

Rougie: but that's what I'm doing here
Arnwyn: what letting me adjust myself in your room?..don't you dare quote that on HoP...

It looks cool, but it makes you talk funny and it chips your teeth, other than that it rocks.

Not necissarily, I've had my toungue pierced for 7 years now and my teeth are still fine...and I have never talked funny! My piercing is quite far back on my toungue so very few people know I have one..unless I pull funny faces at them biggrin If you are worried about your teeth get a plastic ball for the ends. And my ear piercing hurt way more than my toungue did.

one good thing about being single..

that feeling you get when you meet someone new that seems to be rather interesting..

Yup, happened to me too this weekend! What is it that gives you the feeling that if you go and talk to someone you'll get on, just from looking at them? That or someone was slipping brave pills into my drink.

Happened to me too.

Maybe it's the hormones that are released when you see someone you like. It gives you convidence to actually go and talk to someone.

ive worked through it a bunch in the past few years, getting thrown on stage infront of over 100 people, tends to help with that. but, theres still residual parts of my then personality, which can be seen. i like those parts though smile

Blimey, you lot have been chatty !

As for my piercings;

Left lobe - stretched to 12mm
Right lobe
Left top ear
Both nipples
Eyebrow
Middle of lower lip
Tongue (which is the newest)

Tongue only took about 3 days to heal, didn't stop me eating even though it did swell up. Feels like a really sharp (Surprise !) jab for about a second, then nothing for an hour or so, then just aches for a bit.

I don't talk funny, and my teeth are already weird. Missing one, shattered veneer on another. Both at the front, moshing injury, damned expensive to sort out and they keep breaking !

I'm sometimes shy and sometimes not. I blush easily and I never approach strangers. I am fine on stage though, which is weird. I'm also quite quiet if I don't know most of the people around me. I do get chattier, louder and probably a bit 'over-friendly' once I get talking to someone ), weather I fancy them or not. ubblol It's nice having spoken to people online beforehand, it's easier to meet and get along with HOPpers because you already know stuff about them biggrin

Ditto, except for the whole standing in the middle of people thing...!

Awww thank you.

The way I see it - perceived awesomeness in anyone is usually borne out of a person's idiosyncrasies, which unfortunately often include confidence issues....

You guys make me smile.

You all seem to have recognised the problem, and in some cases even know the reasons for it.

Now, the next step is to stop talking about it to a bunch of fellow single hoppers and DO something about it tongue
