just the other day i was singing my cats praises to a friend....shortly thereafter,he started acting like a complete loon!staring at me,sort of daring me to look away first and if i don't,just when the tension has peaked,he attacks me..?he runs around, chasing imaginary creatures,my ankles and the only deterrent i know of is a pillow in his face.....he is no kitten either.
any one else got a similiar pet story,or solution...?

My cat is exactly like that biggrin And she's awesome!!

My cat used to be afraid of the door... only at night though because there was a mirror image of her on the door. She'd stalk up to the curtains next to the door and peek her head through, then get all big and run upstairs.

(*Shh!* It's the mirror cat wink)

my sister's dog would chew through everything. she even chewed through my sister's waterbed.....oh how my parents loved that one...

I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

many cats have kooky behaviour like that now and then, it's mostly playing.

Also on the subject of cats my cat recognizes it's self in the mirror (something only the smartest primates are supposed to be able to accomplish according to dumbass primatologists)

Back in the day when I had a cat... HEhe, that cat was such a mean thing. He'd sleep on my feet, and if I moved, he'd bite my toes!

Hehe, he was such a fat lazy thing. Then we got the dog. Then we moved, and had to put the cat down. ubbcrying

Ah, well, it happens.

Oh! A friend of mine has a cat that'll play fetch! Really!
