Teenaged (almost) daughters.

Already went through a teenaged stepdaughter years ago.

She was pregnant for the first time at 13 (abortion), had a daughter at 15 and a son at 19.

She's 21 now and says that she wishes that she had done things a bit differently. I still love her and still claim her as my own but, it also still hurts to see her struggle just to be able to feed her children.

Pat! Isn't it expected that the boys will be hell raisers?

I had custody of my niece and nephew for 15 years. Everyone said that she would be no problem and he would be in trouble constantly. It actually turned out the other way around. I'm lucky enough that the trouble didn't start until after they moved out, I'm not sure that I could have handled it.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other, I guess.

I'm really hoping that Brandi has seen enough of what her sister is going through to be smarter about handling herself. You can't make them do what you want, you can only give guidance and hope for the best.

Like you don't already know that, huh?

gidg/rebekah... ye, you're right actually... the stuff my boys get up to are really just normal boy stuff...

fighting (ok, you expect this, but with my boys it's really physical, making each other bleed type stuff)
bullying
teasing
niggling, deliberately annoying

etc, etc, etc... but when there's 3 of em all doing it @ once, you just wanna grab maus' taser and "talk" some sense into the lil horrors...

yuppers... should be standard issue...

the lil "sample bags" they give ya when u take ur baby home from hospital should contain a taser... use it directly on your own boys... and use it on all the other boys if you have a girl

ubblol Now wouldn't that just blow new parents minds. Looking into the hospital good bag and finding a taser with the diapers!

Patrick, the jet lag will take forever to get over. Just about the time you will be ready to come home you be adjusted, then you have to do it all over again, once you get back home. The class is for my Polynesian group. One one student but you can't pass up getting $10.00 for an hour of teaching something that you love to do. biggrin

FS. I'm getting a new mantra? It's going to be interesting to see what you come up with. And with my day getting better? ... NO. I actually came home after three hours of work, that was after I threw up my breakfast. Did it one more time when I got home but I'm feeling a lot better now. I don't feel ill at all.

Big Red! Girl are you TRYING to make me sick?!! I've never been able to stand the stuff. Just give me a bananan, if I can't keep that down I can't keep anything down.

But I'm feel peachy cean now. Felt perfectly fine after I took a nap. I think it was more the fact of what I ate and not coming down with something. In fact I'm heading out to do a little dancing. biggrin

I have 25 1/2 acres but luckily only about 3 of them have to be kept mowed. The rest is the crop fields, pond, and trees.
I don't mind that much. I gives me time to think and is very therapeutic. Riding mower, ya' know? Mow in counter clockwise direction. Gets rid of negative energies!
