Okay,

1) go to the 'My Home' section from the top menu.

2) In the 'Main Configuration' there's a 'Personal information, email, password, etc.' section: click edit.

3) near the bottom, it says 'URL to your picture' this is where you type the address of your picture.

4) don't forget to confirm your password or none of your changes will be saved.

5) press submit.

6) be excellent to each other. smile

It looks like you've linked to a not hot-linkable image, it links it to this page:

which isn't just an image but a php page.

... you'll prolly need to upload your pic somewhere else to use it as an avatar. frown
