Arc DV hosting Tempests vid

PIP Huddersfield is great, make yourself comfortable this one lasts 20mins. But is worth watching all of it. My favourite bit is right at the end and is completely awesome. The double staff guy I liked as well with a nice unique style.

Nice vid though. Double staff guy and wire wool guy (could be the same person?) are definately the highlights.

Posted:You can miss the first ten mins but I was going for an overall feel. I was hoping it would attract more spinners down here for regular meets. At first I split it into 4 parts for easy download but didnt like the flow so this is what you got:)

The sparkley stuf on the ramp and water is Jo and the doubles dude is my bro Aiden. I was gutted at not getting any footage of me apart form the glopoi stuff so thats why that low quality stuff on there.

Names of people in the pics in order at the start are: Jo, Anthea, Me, Dan, Kelli, Angie, Aiden, Cornet.

No pic of Ninja Paddy, sorry.

Next one is on the 19th of August, hoep to see more people down there.

Anyways, that came out really nice, Liam . I was expecting worse quality from what you said.

Posted:Eh up Kelli,

I think you need to update your windows media player to the most recent one, version 9. A couple of people had troubles viewing my vids before and this is what sorted it.

You can get it here and should download in under 30 mins with a modem.

Appologies for being a bit vacant about PIP dates too, not sure what was going on in my head. Looks like the 16th it is

Posted:Excellent video guys! Real nice to watch all the way through... the parts that stood out for me were as follows:

2:45 - double batons was excellent to see, I'm trying to improve my own skills with those

3:10 - looks like he's a martial artist, very nice play with the double sticks. Could be improved by putting the camera beside him instead of in front/behind, so we could see the spinning and his body movements a little more clearly.

4:21 - yeah, same to you buddy

~5:00 - I like the kids in the video, they are characters!

~10:00 - A little dark, it seemed like, throughout the entire electroglow poi section. Manual focus might help resolve this?

15:00 - I like this young lady's no-nonsense style, it made me think of the famous "NickWithFire" video. Good control and flow.

17:49 - Definitely digging the sparklies in the half-pipe

18:33 - That reflective pond is absolutely beautiful, excellent eye for settings my friends!

You guys are an inspiration, keep up the good work

Posted:Just downloaded this one. Really nice video.

The double sword martial art stuff was great, would be interesting to know what tradition it is?

Nice hedgehogy sound track on the first part.

The black bush poi over the lake was superb- would be good to have a high quality version like you did with the other black bush footage; the lake reflection really adds something.

Posted:Sorry Jez, I had my webspace sorted for a few weeks now and i totally forgot about the vid you were hosting for me

My puter has been busted for weeks so i blame it on not being able to email and read hop. (untill now)

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Dave - I did do a 256Mb version too but i didnt host it as i didnt have the space then. Erm, Jez, can you post me that cd back if you still have it. I think that is the only copy of the high res due tro puter probs.

I got lots more footage or sheff, rotheram, and hudss PIP for the next video but i can't render out till i get shiney new guts for my devil spawn excuse for a computer.

If anyone does want to see the last vid still, say so and ill upload it and drop a link.

Posted:Question...

I downloaded Ed Rush and Optical - Bullit but it isnt the same song that is on the video (song during the electroglo session). It does sound like the same style as if it were the same artist however. Are you sure you credited it correctly? Im unsure weather the song I got is wrong or weather you named it wrong.
