cool!!!

what's up with all that one handed poi?
And that weave to butterfly wrap (one handed) is just plain wicked.

Oh yea, and nice long double staff work!

You guys got some pretty good twirling skills.

It's a bit dark in places

Although my main criticism lies in the fact that it's chock full of londoners....

I really liked it. But it needed more fire!

I would compliment "practice practice practice" with "location location location."

Your subjects are often backlit, which makes it a bit difficult to see. Try to find locations with darker backdrops, but where the subjects are still in a lot of light.

Oh, and your nose looks funny.

(It's a joke. He wanted criticisms. sheesh.)

Love the final scene with the bit of spoken word and the one handed-ness.

yeah I smash the lightbulb in that final scene hence the flash of light and the awkward face!!!

Will try to sort out lighting problems with the next video.

I will hopefully use a real video camera instead of using the 30sec snippets I can take with my digital camera.

Glad people are enjoying it though.

The use of non fire was planned, as I wanted it to portray practicing as opposed to performance. I also wanted to try to make it clearer so that people could see what we were doing. As well you could see with the 1 night shot my camera is not really up to the task. Hopefully these problems will be rectified although I am not promising fire for the next videos as I want these videos to be used to help people get new moves, and with daylight shots you can really grasp what the performer is doing.

If I can rectify this with clearer night shots this ethic will be changed.

Anyways expect a whole load more videos over the next few months. Thanks for the comments so far they have been really helpful.

He came down to G'ford for a couple of nights and then I saw him again at the Arches. Haven't seen him for a while though...

with the volume turned up for the first time.

editing was crazy good
the timing on the 'funky rhythms' bit with the one-handed section is sick

i can't wait to see more.

IT NEEDS MORE POI!!!!!!

no worries awsome!

JinX : If it doesnt kill you it makes you stronger

The spin cycle on the washing machine does not make earth worms dizzy.
It will however make cats dizzy and cats throw up twice their bodyweight when dizzy.
