OK so i have Microsoft front page, And i need to put in an area that needs a password to access so only people with the password can view the page.

How do i do this?
please any help would be wonderfull!

pretty sure there is no way to do this in Front page, tho I admit I've never tried..Bein a sysadmin I've either has to set the security myself(ways of doing this differ on the type of web server), or contacted the sysadmin of the web server. Just curious, when you look at your web in front page, what are your options when you right click on the folder?

aite, if you want to make a directory that has different permissions from the parent directory, or web, first make a new dir under the root directory(from the folders view)..Then right click and 'Convert to Web', then click on Tools in the menubar, then Permissions..Now on the popup first convert the security to use different permissions from the root or parent web, then go to the users tab to create a new user that will be able to access the directory
