Best ones to get or make?
How do you feel is the best way to get up on them? I have learned a few ways but want opinions on the safest.
Any other advice is appreciated!

Hugs to all!

If I approach stairs, sort of side on, it seems to work - I don't go up or down them facing them directly....

On peg stilts, going upstairs is quite easy just climbing them as if you were on the ground but coming down, if there is nothing to hold on to I find that coming down sideways is easiest. I place the downward stilt 2 steps down and bring the other stilt down to the step above so that you never cross stilts. i.e. the upper stilt is always one or two steps above the lower one. This also spreads your balance and makes it more comfortable. Using stairs either up or down takes a lot of concentration and effort. Fatigue causes accidents so frequent stops are advisable if the staircase is a long one
