Something I found to be a trip is a 3 dimentional Cube with 8 balls of fire. Ill show you a pic when I do 20 posts.

8 steel elbows connecting to 12 3ft 1\2" Schedual 40 PVC piping. Its quite the killer scene

3D cubes are awesome to be sure. I just had the opportunity to see two different people do it for two different events while I was in Vegas, and I am definately going to add it to the repetoire. However, their's were silver plastic (caught the light amazingly!) and the way they spun/balanced it did not lend itself to fire. In fact, with all 8 joints being lit aflame I imagine it is fairly limiting as to what manipulations can be done. THough I can imagine it with 7 joints done.
I am interested in seeing this video tremendously.
Thanks!

This is something of an ongoing project I'm looking into, I have most of the materials ready to make both 1m³ practice and fire cubes, but currently the project is on hold until such times as I can source three way 90 deg elbow joints, the practice cubes are to be made from upvc 23mm pipe, and the fire cubes are to be made from 22mm marine grade duralimin, same stuff I make my staffs from,

So i would be eternally very greatful if anyone has a source in the uk for such fittings grovel grovel, as I really don't wich to have to weld this.

for a fire cube, would it be possible to do something similar to like fire hooping, where you have wicks sticking off of the item? Like on every bar in the center you could have a wick pointed toward the center of the cube, that mihgt look pretty awesome, yet leave a lot of places open for potential minipulation....

that which yeilds is not always weak.

I gotta say, I've never been impressed by cube manipulation, since they never do anything that would take more than an hour to learn. It's almost physically sickening.

But yeah, costume does look niceeeeee.

Yeah I know it looks good, hell, as soon as I buy one / find the parts to make one, I'm gonna take those 4 hours out of my life to learn it too. But I might spend a little time after that finding difficult stuff to do also.

yeah, why bother to put so many hours of training into any other skill? when I could impress with just four hours and practically no skill? Hell, I might as well just put the time into learning how to con people, cos that's what it feels like doing to me.

Hell, we all know that days of solid practice to learn a techy move doesn't get nearly as much of a reaction from a crowd as something simple, like a flower does. tongue

Yeah, we all know a lay audience doesn't care about techy moves vs simple ones, big deal. I'm talking about the morals of pretending that something is hard that isn't.
