Not only are they not cheap, but the springs they use tend to break after a few uses when they start to wear.

What I mean, is that while the spring lasts a while, when it starts to wear out, it will do so in a very short time, usually failing while you are using them.

This going from their use about 18 months ago, maybe they have changed the design since then...

ive seen something that helps your jumping. they looked like roller blades, but instead of wheels where were 2 bars of metal, or plastic or something. Bassically they were both bent to a slight arch, and hinged together so they made the shape of an eye. a recreation center in my old town had a group where everyone had a pair and used them a couple times a week together. They seemd pretty cool.

I was looking into these too. I got ahold of a company called www.stiltwerks-inc.com They are based in Las Vegas. They sent me this info.
The Velocity Stilts are between $1,600.00 and $2,300.00
(difference in pricing is in which components you choose)
When we tested these stilts for the military, we were able to sustain a speed
of 22 MPH. While playing basketball with the Harlem globe trotters we were
able to jump up and sit in a 10 foot basketball hoop.

Some of our talent are working on skills like double front flips.

ive been thinking about making some of those bouce blades i was talking about, but not wure what i would use for the spring material. i guess i could just make it out of metal and stick a spring in the center. Any ideas. i want to make a pair of these! peace

Tried out the Bouncy Stilts last sunday and ended up with a 4" cut in my arm so my advise would be don't do them near hooks that stick out of the wall. Other then that there grate fun and not to hard if you can do normal stilts.

Maybe I should change this too something abit nicer, humm no I still think your all Ccensoredt
