Sounds good mate! I wouldn't mind a go of that!

Only time I've used a realyl big toy was when Strugz built 2 l.e.d staffs that connect together to form a 8ft staff, in red too, makes you feel like you really are Darth Maul!

May the force be with you Mineiro! Looking forward to the vid..

wow! that's like, 2.33333333333333 times the length of my longest staff!

I guess you do a lot of horizontal work when you aren't the stilts?

WARNING WARNING!!!!:
This said 3.3m Fire Staff, is beyond fucked up, serious.
2 generators, some lighting, loads of scaffold bars, costumes, petrol, paraffin and toys, 10 people oh and Nix? [ haha] and this so said staff in the back of a transit van, the thing only just went in there let alone the rest of the gear.
Any way it was pretty damn impressive, but rob remind me, did we film it? i cant remember you swopped my brain man, i'm all staffed out.

So what you mean is it got mashed in the van and you didn't get footage

So can't I have a go if I eventually get my arse up to Edinburgh Minero, is.., is it a dead staff. gulp

consoles Minero and runs off with enough kevlar for a large dance troupe

How do you soak the wicks? Or is this 1m of 4" wicking, as opposed to wicking extending 1m up the staff?

I'm hoping (my God am I hopng) that it is 1 metre of wick wrapped up into a much smaller package at each end of the staffs.

I've got some standard staffs with four foot (over a metre) on each end but they only measure about 1 foot once they are on the staff.

They are relatively easiy to soak and light, expcept you have to keep refilling the tin!

knowing Minero a little, it will be the larger version. Dunno how to soak it though

Glad to hear it's not mashed.

momentum is one thing, but getting it to do different things when all it wants to do is follow the same path is where muscle power will come in.

Technique is also important, but strength would be too for this friggin monster!
