hi dudes

i am max , a 15 ( get 16 on friday the 22.11 ) years old ( young ) guy . i began some days ago to swing with a staff . before that i did many things with staffs ( not swinging ) and so i think that i am not really bad at this ( i can already all moves from the "free lessons" ) .
i train about 1-2 hours every day and thats the first question i have : is that enough ? how much are you training ?
my other question is : are there any good books about staff swinging somewhere in the world ? you cant find one ( no not even one ) book in germany where you could learn some new things about swinging and so on ..

would be very glad if someone could help me

bye | max

Hello Max and Welcome!

It's always great to have another staffer here at Home of Poi. There is actually a book for sale in the online shop here dedicated to the art of staff, as well as a video by Charles, one of our moderators. Click here for relevant page.

Why not introduce yourself properly in the Introductions Forum. We'd love to hear more from you.

I think training 1 - 2 hours is a lot! You must be very disciplined.

Enjoy our website! We all do

1-2 hours is a lot

I used to train for 3-4 hours a day but now only about 6 hours a week or so.

The more you practice, the faster you'll progress.

good luck

ps. Your English is fine
