Posted: my tactic is to just keep ordering the bags from persil i have a stash of about 10 @ home now soon to be joined by my order of 6 pairs of oval laces. spare nets ahoy!
they are stronger than strong cos they are designed to withstand loads and loads of machine washes, they are uv, they are easy to modify and best of all, they are free.
once you have these incidentally, they make a great pair of practice poi. you can stick a juggling ball or two (or three if you're real strong ) in the net instead of the globall and hey presto, a lovely set of soft practice poi.
