Posted: morning! i found something new! it kinda works and kinda looks cool... k you know how you get those LED key ring thingy's... the ones that you click on and off not the ones you have to hold down.... well i took one green one and one blue one... clipped then to the ends of my poi and bobs your uncle.... or aunt if your from tazmania you got some cheap beaming poi... i wanna try mabye clipping a whole lot on.. cheers

Posted: If these are the ones where you push the button in thru the middle, they are pretty fragile. Bang them together and they pretty much stop working.
However , while they do work: get some pingpong balls,cut a small hole in it - use a scalpel or exacto knifePut the LED inside the hole. The hole should be just big enough for the tip to be just in the hole, not pushed all the way thru the ball.tape [use clear tape] or silicon gum around the edges of the hole.Turn lights on, twirl away The ping pong balls become these orbs of light, and leave much better POV trails. Looks good.
Unfortunately, still fragile
Oh well.
