was spinning fire tonight and dicovered something funny...I spilled some lampoil on the pavement when I fueled up. And after the spinning was done I put the wicks (who was still on fire) where i had spilled the fuel.....
And the wicks just sucked it up ....the flame got bigger....and the fuel on the ground didnt start to burn....And it all happened in a second.....

Now what i was thinking is that it should be possible to make a refuel device thingie where you can put your pois on and dont have to worry about the fire.....would be refueling in a second....Even make a move out of it so it looks natural....." 5 beat BTB refuling corcsrew"
would be nice

So any ideas anyone?
could already be in use somewhere for all I know

could just be the heat evaporating the kero therefore making the wicks burn brighter, were they burning bigger for much longer afterwards?

Jackelero...fact about Kero/Lamp Oil:

There are 3 ways to make it combust...

1. Heating up to an extreme measure.

2. By aspiration or other form of turning it into a mist.

3. On a wick.

Have you noticed it may take a bit longer for your wicks to light than if you used say...white gas? It is because of the flashpoint (fume ignition) differential. Kero's fumes are virtually not ignitable. You can put lit match out in it as well.
Not something that I recommend messing around with but you can.
This is why it didn't explode or go up in flames.
Don't try it with any other fuel however, or for long periods of time.
