Posted:Everyone knows you can make underwear last twice as long by turning them inside out, right?
Does this work with wick? One of the wicks on my doubles is dying, and I thought I might be able to get a few more burns out of it if I reversed the wick, so the less exposed inside was on the outside. Anyone tried this?

If you're not confused, you're not thinking about things hard enough.

Posted:Yes it will give some extra life to your wicks by flipping them the other way.

The underwear thing though ..... I never thought of that.

Posted:Yup, the underwear principle can indeed be applied directly to wick. If you take your wicks apart, you'll probably be amazed at how the unexposed wick looks almost new. I recently had a pair of large cathedral fold wicks that were looking pretty ratty, so I took them apart and re-wrapped the wick onto a tube core. Look and work great again.

of course, i could see some flaming poi style lingerie though. rrrraaaarrrrggh!

and i've noticed a trend here: if a person wears breifs, and they don't have clean undies, they'll wear dirty ones. if a boxer person dosen't have any clean undies, they don't wear anything.

yeah, panties... each day translates into about 200 good huffs ... so gals, "always be prepared" and listen to those scouts. i knew those boy scouts were on to something, but i always figured..."why is the scout leader talking about my underwear?"

used-panty-fire-wicks, on our website next week, that's taking fire merchandise to a whole new level...
